Live Jam II: Music for peace

The reports we have been getting lately from the Media concerning Tana River and Mathare are nothing short of sickening. Sadder still is the fact that even after we went through hell in 2007/2008, some people are still willing to take up violence like a cloak that protects us from the vagaries of life once election fever dies down.

It is with this grim reality in mid that One Music Club has organized a live band jam session to be held on the 15th of January at Club Sylk. This event creates a podium where musicians can jam with one another forgetting all that seemingly 'separates' them. Music transcends all barriers, and it unites, that is the unequivocal message One Music seeks to relay to all and sundry through Live Jam II.

So come the 15th, head on down to Club Sylk at 7.00PM, and get immersed in the sweet sounds of live music that shall be created on that stage. The best part of this whole experience is that it's free, and unrehearsed so what you will be getting is nothing short of 'original'. Anyone, I mean anyone can come on stage and jam. See you there.
